Formed from a merger of the bus divisions of two of the biggest names in the industry, Iveco and Renault, Iveco Bus, with its focus on innovation, advanced technology and best in class manufacturing processes is a name that inspires confidence.

HISTORY

1906

Renault produces its first bus.​

1907

Fiat produces its first bus.​

1975

Iveco is founded as a result of a series of acquisitions of Fiat Veicoli Industriali, OM and Lancia Veicoli Speciali (Italy), UNIC (France) and Magirus Deutz (Germany).​

1990

​Iveco acquires top Spanish commercial vehicle company Pegaso.​

1996

Renault VI, whose bus division would later be merged with Iveco's, acquires a majority holding in the Czech bus manufacturer Karosa.​

1998

Heuliez Bus, a French bus manufacturer, becomes a subsidiary of Renault VI.​

1999

Creation of Irisbus (Iveco 50%, Renault VI 50%).

2003

Iveco acquires Renault's share in Irisbus.​

2011

Iveco's activities are demerged from Fiat S.p.A and Iveco becomes part of Fiat Industrial, the demerged Capital Goods arm of Fiat Group.​

2013

The Iveco Bus brand is established.​

2013

​The road to success: CNH Industrial is formed, following the merger of Fiat Industrial and CNH Global N.V.
